It’s Wednesday, which means we are half way through our week but more importantly its Work Out Wednesday! Today we’re doing a Lower Body HIIT. These are always brutal for me but I love working lower body. This mornings alarm was extra offensive and I was dragging some serious tale but I pushed through it, got it done (barely) and feel great!

Let’s get started shall we? By now hopefully you’ve done your version of a warm up. I did 10 minutes on the elliptical to get my heart pumping and my muscles warmed up then followed it up with 3 Rounds of the this HIIT. I did each exercise for 25 seconds followed by 10 seconds of rest (Making each of my rounds 7 minutes long). Adjust your own time to fit your fitness level. Of course take a minute in between rounds to catch your breath and grab a drink. If you find it too challenging with the weights you can drop them at any time to make it a body weight exercise.
And if you’re looking for a little extra burn do 3 continual rounds of the next exercises.
I don’t know about you, but this one literally kicked my butt! Being short on time doesn’t mean you can’t get a great work out in! Now grab some water and some protein, stretch it out and call it a day!
